In July 2023. I shot a beautiful christening day for Maureen and Dwayne’s little girl. I I arrived at the house for a pre shoot of everyone getting ready and to get some shots of mam baby granny and dad along with aunt and cousins. One of my favourite parts of photographing christening’s is coming to the family home first as I love documenting the morning. We really did catch some really beautiful moments even before we reached the church.

The ceremony was in their local church lovely intimate with just small amount of family. The celebrations after were held in the step house in Borris Co. Carlow. What a beautiful venue. The venue and the walled gardens off the ball room was absolutely beautiful. I feel even with a large wedding or an event you still get an intimate feel from the step house. Having Borris house across the road the step house your spoilt for choice for photo opportunities.

I am looking foreword to getting back to this venue in the future to capture more fun intimate moments.
